Loki’s writer says the show will hopefully have “wide ramifications across the MCU”
Loki is getting closer and closer, dear reader.
Plot involves Loki helping TVA mend the broken timeline he caused Avengers: Endgame. Not wanting to speculate as madly as we did to WandaVision, these may be the events that fuel Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness? Perhaps?
A link between the two projects is writer Michael Waldron. He wrote Loki, and was brought back by Kevin Feige to work on the Doctor Strange 2 scenario.
Total movie magazine interviewed Waldron, asking about the show’s connection to the upcoming Doctor Strange after:
It would be just a crazy guess. All of these stories, in their own way, are interconnected and have ramifications. I think that certainly our goal with the Loki series was for it to have far-reaching ramifications across the MCU in the future. So you know did I clean up some of the mess that I made [with Loki]? Perhaps.

A “maybe” is more than most Marvel writers / directors / actors give us. In fact, it is a certified “Yes”.
Joking aside, as with WandaVision, it could go in any direction. This broken timeline in Loki may have nothing to do with the “Multiverse of Madness” that Doctor Strange will face. Or, it could be the key to everything reaching as far as Kang the Conqueror appearing in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Maybe Loki will share his secrets on June 9 when the series debuts on Disney +.
