A magnitude 4.4 earthquake struck just 14 minutes ago 59 km northwest of Ternate, Indonesia, the Indonesian Meteorological, Climatological and Geophysical Agency reported.
The earthquake struck at an intermediate depth of 134 km below the epicenter near Ternate, Maluku Utara, Indonesia, on the morning of Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 10:16 a.m. local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter and depth of the quake could be revised in the next few hours or minutes, as seismologists review the data and refine their calculations, or when other agencies release their report.
