Memory Writing Workshop @ Sunshine Place Online
Award-winning short story writer and educator Dr. Oscar Peñaranda will host a six-session memoir-writing workshop at Sunshine Place Online.
Through this memory writing workshop at Sunshine Place: Senior Recreation Center, students will learn to find and channel their voice so they can tell their story.
The course will cover the abstract / concrete of things through the meanings, functions of language, parts of a word, sharing, homework and consultation. At the end of the class, the student writes on assigned topics, such as maturity, courtship, characters in your life, to name a few. The final session will have a culminating activity in which each participant will present (along with family and friends) their respective writings.
The workshop is scheduled for Mondays from 10 am to 12 noon on July 5, 12, 19, August 2 and 9, 2021. The full price of the workshop is 4,800 Php for seniors and 6,720 Php for non-seniors.
