Spike Lee spits 9/11 conspiracy theories – and liberal media promotes them
As we approach the 20th anniversary of the infamous Day of Terror, September 11, it devastates me to see the denial of some of my constituents.
The last bigmouth wearing a megaphone full of lies is Spike Lee.
The filmmaker is a big and proud purveyor of some of the most vile 9/11 conspiracy theories, including the belief, which has spread like poisonous mold over the past two decades, that US government forces have brought down New York’s World Trade Center and claimed the lives of nearly 3,000 people.
The madmen not only recklessly accuse our government of being responsible for mass killings, but they let the evil forces that committed the atrocities get away with it. The Oscar winner makes no apologies, explaining that “I have questions”.
The disgusting stories are promoted in the director’s four-part docuseries, “New York Epicenters: 11 / 9-2021½”, which will air on HBO. In addition to interviewing regulars – from Mayor Bill de Blasio to frontline workers – Lee, 64, is gullible promoting the yelping of a group called Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, with interviews from multiple members organisation. The group believes the “controlled demolitions” brought down the towers, not the planes hijacked by Islamist extremists.
In an interview with the New York Times, Lee said he did not buy into “official explanations” for the terrorist attacks in New York City, the Pentagon and a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. “The amount of heat it takes to melt steel, that temperature is not reached,” Lee told the newspaper, between quotes worthy of the darkest corners of the Internet conspiracy. the juxtaposition of how Building 7 fell to the ground – when you put it next to other collapsing buildings that were demolitions, it’s like you’re looking at the same thing. “
Lee threw up theories that were repeatedly refuted. On the one hand, in addition to jet fuel, the many materials that burned in buildings – including furniture, computer equipment, and so much paper – were estimated to reach temperatures that were, indeed, capable of deforming l ‘steel. And the delayed collapse of 7 World Trade Center, which Lee said was caused intentionally by government forces, was seen as the result of structural damage from the earlier collapse of the North Tower, coupled with fires that raged for about seven hours.
But why let reality ruin Lee’s money?
Some Hollywood idiots have also launched conspiracy theories (Rosie O’Donnell disputed that fire ever melted steel, Mark Ruffalo concluded that “buildings don’t fall like this”, Charlie Sheen said Washington was behind the attacks etc.) But Lee, still the narcissist, actually says his documentary could make a difference.
“I mean, I have questions – and I hope the legacy of this documentary is maybe Congress has a hearing, a Congressional hearing on 9/11.” Yes, we never had one. Never would a massive 9/11 Commission report interview more than 1,000 people and examine every aspect of the attack. And he concluded that September 11 was caused by madmen and the intelligence failures of several administrations.
The liberal media are appalled by the misinformation online, writing story after story on QAnon. Social media companies control what you are allowed to say about COVID, politics, and elections.
But somehow, Spike Lee is immune, not only with a free pass to peddle that dreck, but he promoted it on HBO. Because for left-wing cultural institutions, it’s okay to suggest that the US government is a bigger bad guy than Al Qaeda.
The only thing any of us can do to stop this reprehensible liar is to ignore him. Boycott the show. Boycott HBO.
