The Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts is looking for a General Manager.

The 501 (c) 3 nonprofit provides performing arts experiences that create community unity, educational opportunities and economic growth, according to information provided.

The Executive Director will be responsible for “leading professionals and team members in the development of our efforts to educate, entertain and inspire our community”. The ideal candidate must have a “genuine passion for the arts and be an entrepreneurial leader, a visible and accessible team builder.” They should be flexible, diplomats, decisive motivators and coalition builders with strong personal communication skills.

Since its inception in 1955, the Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts has showcased some of the country’s top talent, producing quality Broadway shows in Warsaw. Over 66 years later, audiences continue to rave about the “Wagon Wheel’s unique and intimate theater setting,” the news reports. The Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts is home to the Wagon Wheel Professional Theater, the Wagon Wheel Community Theater, the Wagon Wheel Symphony of the Lakes, the Wagon Wheel Jr., the Wagon Wheel Conservatory and the Wagon Wheel Concert Series.

A bachelor’s degree is preferred, as is nonprofit experience for the CEO position. Three to five years of experience in business management, leadership and community outreach would be ideal and public relations and marketing skills would be an asset. Experience in fundraising and tax management is essential, according to the information provided. Community involvement is required.

The CEO reports directly to the Chairman of the Board.

The CEO oversees and manages all staff at the Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts, including the following salaried positions: COO, Director of Donor Relations, Art Director, Director of Marketing, Director of Education and musical director.

The full-time salaried position has a salary range of $ 50,000 to $ 70,000 per year, with paid vacation and personal time off.

There is additional income potential with the Warsaw Community Schools Performing Arts Center. There are no medical benefits.
